Persian Blue Salt

Persian Blue Salt is a mineral characterized by a bright and intense color and is often the ideal choice to season and enrich luxurious dishes.

Originally extracted from deep mines in Iran – from where it takes its name – this salt is characterized by transparent crystals, encrusted with bright blue spots and streaks, some of which can be quite intense. This special quality is due to the presence of silvite, a mineral usually yellow or pink in color but which, in some forms, can also be blue.
