Champagne Grande Reserve Brut

is the result of the union of three different grapes, as well as a blend used for years – with great success – in the Telmont range: the result is a perfect balance between the fruity character and the fresh and mineral notes. On the nose, fruity hints of peach and flowers can be detected.

A Champagne that is very elegant, pleasant and light on the palate, leaving a round sensation. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs well with seafood or white meats.

The company

Champagne J. De Telmont was founded by the Lhopital family in Damery in 1912 and today, it is one of the very few remaining family-run producers in the region. The fourth generation of the family, consisting of Bertrand and his sister Pascale, manages the estate according to the teachings diligently passed down by their grandparents, based on conviviality, hospitality and sharing.

The vineyards are spread over 33 hectares of land located in eight different villages and consisting of three classic champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Meunier. These are complemented by another 96 hectares spread over thirty villages of the Grands and Premiers hills, as well as other Crus.

Champagne J. de Telmont produces its wines by carefully combining tradition and modern technology: most of the vineyards are biodynamic and the main characteristic is a second fermentation in natural cork valid for all cuvées and a maturation period that goes beyond the minimum required by law. J. de Telmont cuvées are recognized for the constancy of their quality and their formidable savoir-faire: the numerous awards won, year after year, are tangible proof of the superb quality and depth of the vineyard’s wines.
