Codium Seaweed has a marine flavor which reminds of the barnacle.
The colour is green, but some varieties are darker or lighter. The main characteristic of this seaweed is the texture: it is spongy, elastic and velvety.
The cylindrical branches of the Codium Seaweed are less than half a centimeter thick. This food is highly appreciated in Asia, where it is eaten raw or cooked. It is a great source of proteins, fibers and minerals.
