Fresh Irish Moss

Porto-Muiños is a family-run company founded by Antonio Muíños and Rosa Mirás, the entrepreneurial husband and wife team who in 1998 began to process seaweed and then sell it in dry or canned form. Today, their highly sought-after products are available powdered, salted and fresh – the latter two enjoying particular success. Antonio and Rosa base the success of their company on the study and recent popularization of the organoleptic characteristics of seaweed.
