Hawaii red salt
Red salt was one of the oldest ingredients used by the local communities, which have specialized, throughout history, in the artisanal production of salt.
Red salt is famous around the world thanks to its natural coloring, caused by the abundance of iron oxides contained in the red clay found in this area.
