Italian Forest Honey 250gr

Forest honey has a strong and penetrating scent of vino santo, apricot compote, ripe fig, black spices, with a liquorice finish. The taste is marked in the tones of carob, rhubarb and green tomato jam with an aftertaste of cooked cane sugar.

Chef's Advice
Pair this honey with american or mocha coffee, on bread with butter or extra virgin olive oil. It's ideal in sweet or savory preparations where dark spices are present and in prolonged cooking of meat or lake fish.

For breakfast, combine it with white yogurt and dried fruit. Use it as a dressing on bbq meat or as a sauce. A few drops on boiled carrots will give a great taste.
