Salt kala namak
In India and Pakistan, Kala Namak – also known as “Indian black salt” as well as “vegan salt” – is one of the most traditional ingredients.
This “sulfur” salt is a typical Indian mineral with a decidedly characteristic sulfurous flavor, more similar to that of a boiled egg than salt as we are used to knowing it. For this reason, it is often used as a condiment in typical vegan foods to give a mild and natural egg flavor.

Discovery is what makes the difference between connoisseurs. This is the very essence of Longino & Cardenal: the company’s ability to discover rare and precious foods and to place this rich discovery at the service of some of the most demanding professionals and gourmands in the world.
