The Verace clam is extremely versatile in the kitchen and can be enjoyed in many ways: for classic spaghetti alle vongole, steamed to enrich soups, in rice dishes, and in any other traditional seafood recipe.

Their delicate taste and tender texture make them a perfect choice to enhance fish-based dishes with consistently spectacular flavor.

How to store Verace clams?

It is best to maintain the cold chain as much as possible and avoid keeping them at room temperature for too long. Refrigerate them as soon as they arrive. It is advisable to keep the clams in the mesh bag they are packaged in, as they are tightly held together to prevent opening, helping them last longer in the coldest part of the fridge. As an extra measure, you can wrap them in a damp, well-sealed cloth.

To clean the clams, simply rinse them thoroughly under running water in a colander and gently rub them. Discard any broken clams.
