This ham is presented in a new format, packaging that reduces the product's contact with plastic, preserving the ham's aroma, flavor, color, and texture.
The slices are easy to separate and feel as if they have just been sliced by hand thanks to the protective atmosphere packaging.
Simply turn the package upside down to present a plate of sliced Spanish ham that is aesthetically perfect. Ideal as an appetizer or starter, on a platter of Iberian cold cuts.
What makes Bellota Iberian pork special?
Bellota Iberian pigs are animals fed exclusively on acorns (bellotas in Spanish) and natural grasses and raised in pastures, in semi-freedom, grazing in the fields and exercising like wild animals.
During the “montanera” season, from September to February, the trees of the “dehesa” produce their fruit, acorns, which the pigs devour with gusto.
Acorns are a highly energetic fruit and contain a large amount of oleic acid. This method of feeding the animals allows us to obtain the best Iberian hams.

In 1932, the Blázquez family founded their ham company in the Salamanca area, based on the artisanal knowledge of the time. Today, it is still a family-run business with almost 90 years of tradition in producing one of the most iconic Iberian delicacies, the patanegra. Controlled genetics, selection criteria based on teachings passed down from generation to generation, and self-produced feed are the secrets still guarded by the third generation: from its founding to the present day, Jamones Blázquez has remained faithful to its natural and traditional processes.
