Thomas Spornberger does not weigh the herbs, flowers and wild salads: he counts them. Well yes, Alpin Herbs’ packs are based on quantity. In fact, in each pack there is only a precise number of tips – between the greens – the very best ones, tender and fresh. All cut by Thomas, his mother and their three employees, strictly by hand with scissors reminiscent of manicure scissors. As soon as they receive an order, they go straight to the greenhouse and pick the plants and flowers they need, to send them off immediately on the same day.

The merit was to revolutionize the cultivation process, shifting attention from the rhythms of the soil, to those articulated by the succession of courses on a restaurant table. In fact, Thomas is able to plan which and how many plants to produce, according to the specific requests and needs of each individual chef. Ensuring maximum customization and flexibility of the product.

Alpin Herbs edible flowers and aromatic herbs are produced in the Alps of South Tyrol. The passion for rediscovering new and old flavors has led Alpin Herbs to offer an unparalleled assortment. All products are harvested by hand and packaged in a very short time, for a shelf life of just 10 days.
