Italian Ivy Honey 28gr
Ivy honey has a scent which is characterized by vegetal fragrances of root, conifer leaves, licorice and noble molds. On the palate, there is a strong initial sensation of mushroom, its sweetness is mitigated by herbaceous flavors and a dry finish with a hint of cinnamon and fresh resin. It is absolutely the richest honey in glucose, the main creator of the rapid and fine crystallization and of the characteristic melting structure.
Chef's Advice
Add ivy honey to vegetable soups or in combination with blue cheeses. When cooking bbq meat, add the honey to the seasoning with pepper, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Combined ivy honey with walnuts and blue cheese for a fresh pasta ravioli or for the preparation of a peppered bread instead of using sugar.
