Italian Orange Honey 28gr

Orange honey has a fragrance of orange blossom which characterizes it together with notes of honeysuckle flowers, hawthorn and yellow melon. To the palate it is pleasantly sweet, with floral hints which can evolve in slightly fruity notes, inviting the continuous tasting. The substance responsible for the distinctive scent of orange blossom is called methylantranilate, the quantity present in honey varies according to the area of origin.

Chef's Advice
This honey is especially suitable for pastry: wheat pastiera, fried pastries and citrus compotes. It is recommended in savory combinations with flower or spring vegetable omelettes. Add orange honey to extra virgin olive oil and lemon for salads and pinzimonio for raw fish.
