Exquisite Piquillo peppers, one of Spain's most iconic products. The bell pepper used is the Lodosa pimiento, one of the most popular vegetables in the fields of Navarre. It is an annual herbaceous plant, sown in spring and harvested in early October. This is done exclusively by hand every two weeks. As per regulations, Piquillo peppers are peeled one by one without soaking them in water, so that they can retain all their natural characteristics.
The peeling and seed removal procedures are also done meticulously by El Navarrico's operators-a delicious product that is recommended to be eaten at room temperature for a taste and flavor like freshly picked.
What makes El Navarrico vegetable preserves special?
A 10,000 m2 plant where fruits and vegetables are processed only in the harvest season, following seasonality and helping to keep the local economy alive by cooperating only with farms in Navarre. Many things have changed from those early years to today: more than 50 different products are processed in the company, but always keeping the spirit of the old family business intact.
