What makes the Strolgburger special?
Like strolghino salami, it is made from the lean trimmings of culatello and fiocco. Culatello is a fine Italian cured meat, originally from Emilia-Romagna, made from the hind leg of the pig, cured and famous for its delicate and fragrant flavor. Fiocco is also a cured meat obtained from the leg of the pig, but from the opposite side to Culatello, characterized by a delicate flavor and tender texture. Both are examples of Italian gastronomic excellence in the field of cured meats.
