Deep-Water Pink Shrimp - Shelled
Parapenaeus Longirostris, commonly known as deep-water pink shrimp, is fished at a depth of 150 meters and is a small crustacean with a sweet and flavorful meat. Considered the least noble member of the Mediterranean crustaceans family, in fact, it is a genuine and delicious product characteristic of Italian cuisine.
The nutritional properties of this type of shrimp are endless and they are also very lean!
Like all Don Gambero products, as soon as they are caught, the seafood is immediately blast chilled directly on board certified fishing vessel laboratories, with a very high thermal shock. In order to maintain the full freshness of the product, the processing is carried out very quickly without rinsing and icing. The shrimp are then packaged in special trays that guarantee the structure, flavor, aroma and nutritional values of the product.
The practicality of Don Gambero’s “Ready to Use” product range: thawing the product only takes about 10 minutes in cold water, after which it is enough to extract it from the packaging, having maintained all its freshness.
