The kings of the Christmas lunch table

First clue: once again we will present two dishes, one inspired by the land and one by the sea.

Christmas is the time of the year when simplicity becomes magic! Our tables and all traditional dishes are imbued with a special spirit and warmth, for a precious moment that always feels like a new experience.

Longino wants to allow you to relive a truly magical sensory experience, offering two protagonists of the Italian Christmas tradition, presented in a gourmet version.

The protagonist of our land-inspired Christmas lunch menu is game.

A second course featuring meat is the must of a traditional Italian Christmas lunch. How do we take this course to a new level?

On this occasion, Longino chose an exquisite Scottish venison fillet produced by Brahead Foods, a top brand for game, both in terms of the hunting estates, as well as for ensuring the full traceability of the products. The deer from which this quality meat is produced thrive in the woods of the Scottish Highlands.

Norway Lobster: the prince of the seas

Norway Lobster is an absolute must on your Christmas table!

Don Gambero’s Sicilian scampi – or Norway Lobster as this exquisite product is typically known in English speaking countries – is the protagonist of Longino’s main seafood dish proposed on this special occasion. Don Gambero seafood is blast chilled directly on the fishing boats where it is caught, thus protecting the particular fragility and freshness typical of Mazara del Vallo crustaceans. After it is caught, the Norway Lobster is processed quickly without rinsing and without icing, maintaining the full freshness of the product.
