Pariani is a family business that began its activity in 2010 with the production of Hazelnut Oil made exclusively with PGI "Piedmont Hazelnuts". From the immediate success of the hazelnut oil, the entire range of oils from Italian nuts was born, and then expanded with spreadable creams, flours, grains, candied fruits, essences and special ingredients dedicated to the world of pastry and beyond.
How it all began
Pariani was born from the idea behind Mattia Pariani's graduation thesis at the University of Agriculture in Turin. There, the university and company project on the transformation of Piedmont hazelnuts into oil through technological innovation was presented. A few years later, in Cortemilia, in the province of Cuneo, the Pariani Oil Pressing Laboratory was born, extracting oil no longer only from hazelnuts but also from other oilseeds such as the Organic Pinolo of S.Rossore, Bronte Pistachio and Sicilian Almond.

The hazelnut variety universally recognized as the best in the world is the "PGI Piedmont Hazelnut," grown in the Langhe region. Its main characteristics are intense taste and aroma after roasting. Interest from the catering world has allowed the company the next step, to launch into the processing of nuts into paste and cream, grains and flour, making use of the most modern technologies and the most renowned Made in Italy excellences such as Sicilian pistachios for the famous pistachio spreadable cream.
